Sichuan COC Display Devices Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Sichuan Century Shuanghong Display Devices Co., Ltd., Sichuan Changhong Electronic Co., Ltd. and MP America in 2007 with the purpose of founding “China first, World leading” plasma display devices production base. One of its controlling parent companies - Sichuan Century Shuanghong Display Devices Co., Ltd. was founded by Sichuan Changhong Electric Group Co., Ltd. and the leading enterprise of China in PDP technology development and volume control IRICO Group Electronics Company Limited in 2006.

COC specializes in the research, development, production and sale of color display devices and matching materials and electronic devices. Our products contain standard HD and full HD PDP display module series from 42″ to 60″.

COC will complete construction of more than USD 2 billion total investment and being with annual 6 million pieces of capacity in PDP display module in three stages, to advance to the top four in world PDP industry. COC is in its first stage of construction currently. The total investment for the first stage of construction will be USD 675 million. And the construction is planned to be completed and production is planned to be started in the second half year of 2008, being with annual production capacity of more than 2 million pieces.

COC owns Chinese and Korean technical talents teams and plunges a lot into the establishment of national standard, the obtaining of core patent and the differential of products. The subsidiary company STEROPE (Netherlands) of the parent company Sichuan Century Shuanghong possesses 75% shares of ORION PDP Korea. ORION PDP has experienced in research of PDP technology for 18 years and has outstanding advantages in patent technology, management and technology teams, intellectual property rights competition strategy and international market channels related to PDP. Through learning and sharing, COC will accelerate the innovation progress of independent intellectual property rights.

Aiming at realizing national PDP industrialization, gathering multiple advantages and aggregating industrial effects, COC founds the first “China-made” PDP module volume production line with independent intellectual property rights and core technology.
